What is Jagah?
Jagah is a train seat-swap discovery service. It helps passengers on the same train journey find compatible seat or berth swaps after verifying their booking with a PNR. No account or payment is required.
How do I find a train seat swap with Jagah?
Enter your 10-digit PNR to verify your journey, select the seat or seats you want to swap, and choose your preferences. Jagah shows compatible requests on the same journey. Passengers then coordinate in person and follow railway staff instructions.
Is Jagah a booking service?
No. Jagah does not book, transfer, assign, or modify travel reservations. It is a discovery service only.
Do I need an account?
No. Jagah works without login, registration, or account creation. Your PNR verifies the journey and is never used as a public identity.
Do I need to pay anything?
No. Jagah does not process payments or collect money for seat swaps. No financial transaction happens through the app.
Can I message other passengers?
No. There is no chat, messaging, or contact exchange. You see the seat you need to find, and you coordinate in person.
Does Jagah notify me when someone matches?
Not by email, SMS, or push. Matches appear live while the page is open, and your request stays active so you can check again later.
What if my seat changes after verification?
We re-check the booking when you return. If the seat has changed, the previous request is flagged for review before it can match again.
Does a match mean the swap is approved?
No. A match only means your journey and preferences are compatible. Both passengers must agree in person and follow the operator's rules and staff instructions.
Can we swap as a group?
Yes. Select the seats you want to move together and choose a group swap. We look for a compatible group of the same size. You can also create separate requests for the other seats on your booking.
Is my PNR visible to other passengers?
No. Your PNR is used for journey verification, is not retained as raw data, and is never shown to other passengers. Match information contains relevant seats and preferences, not names or contact details.
Can I swap a flight seat with Jagah?
Not yet. Flight verification is not connected. Jagah currently supports train seat-swap discovery only.
